What is Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz is Quartz with inclusions of a pink variety of the mineral dumortierite. When these two crystalize together it produces the Rose Quartz we love and know. It forms as massive, anhedral (no crystal plane faces) occurrences in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites. Pink transparent Quartz is rare and often unstable and therefore should be kept away from sunlight.
